Silver Knight Heating & Plumbing provides service and installations of all plumbing and gas fixtures and appliances including (but not limited to) water heaters, on demand boilers, furnaces, toilets, faucets, garburators, fireplaces, bathtubs and showers, sinks, and drain cleaning. We also provide renovation and new build plumbing for both residential and commercial projects.

Silver Knight Heating & Plumbing no longer has a physical store. We have removed much of our heavy overhead costs and applied new technologies to keep our prices lower than most of our competitors.  We can still provide sales for many plumbing and heating products, tell us what you need and we will find it for you!

No, heat pumps require a certified refrigeration ticket holder and electrician and we do not have anyone on staff with those credentials.  We always recommend that our clients hire a reputable and qualified heat pump company as they can properly install and service this equipment. 

Not all plumbing work requires a permit. If you are just replacing fixtures or appliances it is not required.  If you are doing a small renovation that does not change the layout of your plumbing (usually considered "cosmetic" improvements) it is not required. Any major new addition or repair to your plumbing system such as waterline or sewer line replacement, full gut renovations or additions will require a permit.  It is always best to check with your local municipality.

Not all gas work requires a permit, but must always be done by a certified gas contractor. If you are having service work done, no permit is required. If you are replacing gas equipment or appliances (such as water heaters, fireplaces, furnaces, and kitchen ranges) a permit or appliance sticker is required. If you are permanently removing gas equipment or appliance a permit is not required.  Any major new addition or repair to your gas system requires a permit.  It is always best to check with the authority having jurisdiction in your area.

For small repair, replacment, or service work we don't ask for deposits.  For major appliance replacements such as water heaters, furnaces, and fireplaces we do require a deposit.  For major renovations and new builds we do require deposits, but it's a phased payment of 30/50/20.
